MAPIR at IROS 2022 (Oct’22)

The IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Robots and Intelligent Systems, one of the most important conferences in the field of robotics research, was held last October in the Japanese city of Kyoto. In this 2022 edition, under the title Embodied AI for a Symbiotic Society, it has gathered more than 3800 attendees to explore the present and future of global robotics. MAPIR has contributed with the presentation of the paper Unsupervised Appearance Map Abstraction for Indoor Visual Place Recognition With Mobile Robots, also published in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters journal.
