David Zúñiga Noël

I’m a PhD student with the Machine Perception and Intelligent Robotics group (MAPIR) at the University of Malaga, Spain. My research interests include:

  • Computer Vision: Visual odometry and SLAM
  • Mobile Robotics: Sensor calibration and graph-based optimization
  • Sensor fusion
  • Unmanned aerial vehicles

Brief CV

I was born in Valencia, Spain in 1993. I received a B.S. degree in Computer Science in October 2016 and a M.S. degree in Mechatronics in February 2018, both from the University of Malaga (Spain). Since April 2018, I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Vision and Robotics with the Machine Perception and Intelligent Robotics Group (MAPIR), under the supervision of Prof. Javier Gonzalez-Jimenez. During Fall 2021, I was a research intern at Facebook Reality Labs with the Surreal Vision team.
