J. Raúl Ruiz Sarmiento wins the “Robotnik” award

Our colleage J. Raúl Ruiz Sarmiento won the “Robotnik” award for the best thesis in robotics, presented in the “Jornadas de Automática 2017” event, celebrated in Gijón, Spain, in the month of September.

In the final round he presented his thesis, entitled “Probabilistic Techniques in Semantic Mapping for Mobile Robots“, co-directed by Prof. Javier González Jiménez and Dr. Cipriano Galindo. Congratulations!
