Our mobile robot Sancho was presented in society at the Science Park of Granada. Sancho appeared at a press conference explaining his habilities and particularities. Then it mixed with visitors and onlookers.

 


 

 


 

The Mapir group will take part in the European Project called "Enabling SoCial Interaction Through Embodiment" (ExCITE). 

The main objective of this AAL project is to evaluate user requirements of social interaction that enables embodiment through robotic telepresence. The consortium is composed of academic and SME partners from Sweden, Italy and Spain.

The PhD. student José Luis Blanco will present his PhD. Thesis the 13th November, entitled "Contributions to Localization, Mapping and Navigation in Mobile Robotics". The defense will took place at the "Sala de Grados A" at "ETSI Informática", and will start at 11:00am.
